We know how much care goes into opening your home to others. To help make the process even smoother, we’ve introduced a highly requested feature: you can now set a minimum number of nights for your incoming requests.

By setting these expectations for each availability window, you give potential guests clarity from the very start. It’s all about helping you receive the requests that truly match your lifestyle and your hosting goals, so every stay feels like a perfect fit.

More Flexible Outreach

Kindred is at its best when our members connect. We’ve updated the app so you can now chat with members even if they don’t have current availability listed.

This makes it easier than ever to explore potential swaps and dream up new travel opportunities with the people in our community. If you’re not looking to chat right now, that’s okay too—you can easily switch your setting from “Open to inquiries” to “Closed to inquiries” at any time.

Coming Soon: Wishlist Push Notifications

We want to make sure you’re the first to know when your favorite homes are ready for you. We are currently working on Push Notifications for wishlists, which will notify you the moment a home you love becomes available. With controls to turn notifications on or off for each specific wishlist, you can stay informed on your own terms.
