I would just say: don’t worry about it! We all have too much stuff, having kids it’s just normal you do! In particular other parents, will understand.
I am just careful to tide up as much as I can, but I do leave my objects and my kids toys out. I believe in the organized mess of my house as a value which other kindred spirits can enjoy: our objects and my kids toys are indeed part of our life and our identity, it’s just us!
While I personally don’t have kids, I have friends who have kids on Kindred and they’ve hosted a few times and have never had any issues. Guests are always 100% respectful of the hosts’ space, especially with Kindred's new “open to video call” feature to ease the hosts’ mind before having a member stay in their home, I know that's helped ease worries tremendously.
My friends with kids who host have resorted to tidying the “stuff” or clumping stuff together in rooms in the home with low foot traffic (closets, den, guest bedroom, etc) and they haven’t had any issues. Above all, if someone is staying in your home, you have full ability to lay some “ground rules” to respect that stuff – and trust me, most people aren't judging! They’re just happy to be there.
