I had quite a few guests stay with my cat and they loved him! Took such great care of him and it definitely felt like a plus to them (or so they said!). I also stayed at an apartment in NYC with the most adorable 2 cats and I would totally do it again.
Yes! I have a 3-year old Siberian cat that lives in the apartment full time and have had no issues with guests. Some of them even grew really fond of her and sent me lots of selfies and bought her extra treats while I was away. As long as you're upfront about having a cat in your home and what their care entails, Kindred feels very pet-friendly to me.
Make sure to list the cat on your profile and include it as a part of a guest’s stay so it’s clear the cat will be on the premises during their stay (also helpful in case they are allergic, etc). When in doubt, overcommunicate. Let the guests know about this when they inquire about booking. And if really in a pinch, have your cat stay with a neighbor if you really want to host someone who doesn’t agree with cats.
