Welcome to our home! Located in the central and historical neighborhood “Christianshavn” set just across the water from central Copenhagen with all the tourist sights and shopping streets, yet it feels a world away being surrounded by canals, greenery, and lots of cute coffee/brunch places and delectable restaurants.

Our apartment in a newer building is located on the second (US third)  floor - there’s an elevator for your convenience. It consists of two bedrooms - one with a king size bed and one with a queen size bed. We also have a crib available. The bedroom with the king size bed has a lovely balcony with a view to the canal and a common lush courtyard. Enjoy your morning coffee or sunsets in the summer. Our favorite part of the apartment is the combined kitchen-dining room-living room. The new kitchen has all essential appliances: oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, induction stovetop, and everything you need to make yourself at home. Rest in the sofa with a book or the latest binge addiction on the smart tv. The dining table for six also functions as a place to work. Our updated bathroom has a shower and combined washer/dryer for you to use if needed.

My apartment is clean, simple & well-loved. Lots of natural light, windows on all sides, and a great large balcony with a dining table & outdoor outlet perfect for work or meals.

Location (Greenpoint) is incredible and super convenient — citibike station right out the front door, access to both L & G trains, tons of incredible restaurants, coffee, gyms, exercise facilities, running routes, and parks nearby.

The home furnishings mean quite a lot to me, so please take extra care during your stay.

Worth noting that there’s a building being constructed nearby, with (sometimes loud) work being done starting at 7am most weekday mornings. Doesn’t bother me, but worth noting for folks who sleep in.

We live in a quiet community with a private lake only 2 miles from the beautiful sandy beaches of Lake Michigan. We’ve renovated our two-story home over the last few years to be a cheerful, cozy retreat for our family. Each room has been designed with comfort and spaciousness in mind. We have a gas fireplace, stainless steel appliances, a large bathtub for soaking, two kitchen sinks for easy cooking prep, five private bedrooms with high-quality mattresses and two full baths on the second floor along with a half bath on the first floor. Walking out onto our back deck you’ll be greeted by the privacy of beautiful woods and nature. In our backyard, you can sit around our fire pit while the kids jump on our inground and above ground trampolines. We are a 10 minute drive from a charming downtown with great restaurants and shopping. Five minutes from our house are two pristine public beaches along with fun activities for the whole family.

Modern and stylish oasis in Midtown Manhattan

Since I moved to NYC last year, I’ve really enjoyed making this my new home. Being right in the middle of everything in Manhattan has been great fun and my place is as convenient as it gets: located in Chelsea with a subway station right on the block and other major transport hubs nearby. Chelsea is my favourite neighbourhood in Manhattan and being close to places like the High line, or the beautiful Hudson riverside is a nice perk.

The studio itself is cozy but modern (a brand new building) and very bright with 3 floor-to-ceiling south-facing windows. Late afternoon light and sunsets are my favourite with nearly unobstructed views from the 21st floor. The windows also face into the courtyard and are well insulated meaning that it’s quieter than most other places. That said, it is still Manhattan and you do hear sirens in the distance at all times. 

I’ve put a good deal of thought into furnishing my home with nice & simple mid-century furniture and some houseplants, but worth noting that the decor is still work in progress…wall art is next!

This home has all the conveniences of a modern development, including in-unit washer & dryer and a 24-7 concierge (note that I have to report all guests with the concierge to arrange access).
