We love our loft-like top-floor apartment in Berlin. We have beautiful views of the canals and the sunrise and sunset. The space is incredibly spacious and we love to host dinners or do yoga sessions in our common space (we both work in the dance field so this is particularly important for us). We have made the space into our sanctuary space with warm, cozy decor and art from our travels around the world. Highlights include our huge balcony with tomatoes, big bathtub with skylight, and wall of windows across our bed so that we can watch the sunrise in bed.

The apartment is in an Altbau (a pre war building) so there is no elevator but we appreciate the little work out to get up and down each day +  the charm of an old building.
