Welcome to our cozy home on lake Lugano!  Our family of 3 moved here in 2022 after uniting and renovating 2 apartments in this revamped hotel on the lake.  Its the best of both worlds.. a feeling of complete isolation and tranquility, sipping a coffee next tò the fireplace and watching the local birds'antics on the lake...but outside the front door Is a 3km lungolago connecting 5+ restaurants, 2 gelaterie, 3+ panetterie, a grocery store and a commuter train straight to Milan.  Not tò mention the endless hiking trails and things tò discover just across the swiss border (our morning 8k runs are International :P) We work from home and live a life "a piedi".   We love our town, its a jewel for those who love the outdoors and a slower pace of life.

Things to be aware of...
* We have a dedicated parking spot inside our Building gate (but very tall SUVs may have difficulty).  Next Door Is the library and small art center that has Daily paid parking (€4 for the day).
* Weekday mornings you will hear cars passing behind the house(2 lane road with 50km limit)...commuters on the way to Switzerland..for those used to living in full silence it may be a small adjustment
* We have a 7yo who has graciously agreed tò share his toys and books (if you leave a note of thanks he'd love It❤️)
* We have air conditioning in 2 of the 3 bedrooms...we turn It on for 8 nights a year (July/aug)...the living room open space stays very fresh and we have no mosquitos so the 2 balcony Windows are Always open
* Very small spiders accumulate on the balcony only in the Summer.  Absolutely not a problem they are very domesticated and stay outside :P...but not everyones Cup of tea
