I live in a lovely, quiet and bright apartment on the 2nd floor, overlooking the building’s internal courtyard. The apartment is a newly renovated old building with all the old features preserved. It is 1 minute walk from Neukölln U/S-bahn (U7, ring and direct to Berlin Brandenburg Airport in 30 minutes,) 3 minutes from Kornerpark, 4 minutes from Richardplatz and 15 minutes walk to Templehofer Field.

Sunny, lofted 1-bedroom and 1.5 bathroom in the lovely Flatiron neighborhood. The building is brand new and we’ve designed it to be a calm oasis in the middle of the concrete jungle. The flat is around the block from orange and yellow subway lines F,M, Q, R, W. Many great food and coffee options are on the same block (like Eataley) with access also to speakeasies and bars for those that partake. Madison square park is also just down the block for those with smaller kids and dogs. Hope you love our little cocoon in the big Apple!

Charming and historic Como home

What I love about my home is its unique blend of historical charm and modern convenience. Living on the top floor of a 17th-century Palazzo in the heart of Como offers a truly immersive experience in the city's rich history. The tall ceilings and intriguing artworks create a grand and inspiring atmosphere, while the cutting-edge smart home system ensures a comfortable and contemporary stay.

Each of the tall windows in the main rooms provides a stunning view of Via Volta, the birthplace of Alessandro Volta, adding a sense of connection to the city's storied past. The kitchen overlooks a beautiful garden meticulously maintained by a dedicated gardener, offering a peaceful and green retreat right in the city center.

The apartment's location is unbeatable, just a five-minute walk from the Duomo and the lake, and only ten minutes from the main train station, making it easy to explore Switzerland and the rest of Italy. Additionally, being above a coworking space that I manage adds a unique convenience for those who need to blend work with their stay, offering both a professional and homey environment.
What you will love about this neighborhood
Located in the heart of Como's historic city center, the neighborhood around Via Volta is steeped in history and vibrant with life. Via Volta itself is a charming street named after Alessandro Volta, whose birthplace is just a few meters away. The area is characterized by its beautiful 17th-century architecture, tall windows, and narrow, cobblestone streets.

Living here means being just a short walk from the stunning Como Cathedral (Duomo) and the picturesque Lake Como. The neighborhood is filled with boutique shops, cozy cafes, and excellent restaurants, offering a delightful mix of local and international flavors. Regular cultural events and lively markets add to the dynamic atmosphere, making it a wonderful place to explore and enjoy.

*Please note as this is a historical building, it comes with some quirks:
1) the AC is not central. We have a Penguin AC unit that can be easily moved from room to room if needed. Generally we only use it at night in the bedroom.
2) the flat is on the 3rd floor with no lift which helps to burn off all of the pasta you will surely be enjoying in Como :)
3) the windows are original and you will hear some street noise from the restaurants, church bells and trash pick-ups. Ear plugs are helpful for light sleepers.

Explore The Hague’s vibrant scene filled with shops, bars, restaurants, and museums, including the renowned Mauritshuis, home to the iconic Girl with a Pearl Earring. The house is also a within walking distance of supermarkets and other amenities.

Available any ten days in April as well as any ten days of may. My house is located very centrally in LA. Getting anywhere from here is super easy. You can’t beat this location. It’s 10 mins from “the grove” and “LACMA museum”. It’s 15 mins from West Hollywood, 15 mins from Beverly Hills, 25 mins from Santa Monica beach, 30 mins from downtown. 
And even though the house is located right in the center of the city. It is very private and peaceful. With its own private garden and backyard. It’s very secluded, and no adjoining buildings. It’s unique, beautiful and central. I have two shy beautiful cats. They need your love and care while you’re staying at my place. They will keep you company and will appreciate a few cuddles. 
I am an artist and an engineer, so you will see some of that in the aesthetics of the house. You will need a car to get around LA in general.

It’s ideally located for exploring the city – just a short walk to trains, the metro, and buses. We’re also close to major motorways and international train connections, making day trips around greater Copenhagen easy.

The house is spacious, with flexible sleeping arrangements that work well for families with small kids. It also features a dedicated office with a sofa bed, making it a great option for those working remotely.

We have bikes and a car available, depending on the swap arrangement.
