My home was designed as a sanctuary for inspiration, reflection, and well-being.

Just 10 minutes drive from central Oxford and its beautiful historic buildings, yet surrounded by countryside and wildlife. My house is light, bright and friendly with fabulous views and an expansive garden leading directly onto a nature reserve comprising nearly 300 acres of varied landscape and a designated  SSSI (Scientific Site of Special Interest).  

The neighbourhood feels peaceful but not isolated, with good neighbours on both sides. My house is down a quiet lane, 15 minutes from the nearest shops and bus stop so a car is advisable but not essential. There is parking on the driveway for up to 2 cars.

Inside, my house is bright and spacious with big windows, abundant natural light and impressive, far-reaching views.  The decor is a mixture of modern and traditional with lots of books and artwork.  The large kitchen/dining  room is well-equipped, warm and inviting.  The comfortable sitting room has a wood burning stove and a baby grand piano which you are welcome to play

Should you fancy a trip to London during your stay we have excellent rail and bus links which can get you there in just over an hour.  Also, the picturesque Cotswold villages are within easy driving distance.

I am a lifelong vegetarian so please no cooking meat, poultry or fish

Family-friendly, cozy 2-bed in vibrant East Oxford

The best thing about our home is its location. We live right in the centre of East Oxford, where you can walk into town in 20 mins (or 5 minutes on the very regular bus which comes at least every 10 minutes), or eat out at the many many different types of fantastic restaurants and cafes right on your doorstep. We live opposite one of Oxford’s largest parks, and the large Tesco supermarket, and just a few streets away from the river where you can watch the university boats rowing. Also the Oxford tube bus stop which takes you into London is only an 8 minute walk away, so everything is so easy living here!
Our home is small, and full of quirks that are typical of a house built in 1900(!), but we love a cosy space! We’ve recently renovated the kitchen and bathroom, and have a small garden full of greenery which is perfect to relax in after a busy day in the hustle and bustle of the city. If you’re travelling with children we have the perfect set up: think, stair gates, high chair, cot and lots of toys. However, I typically work from home, so it’s also got a desk set up if you’re travelling on business.
Some things to note about our home:
The neighbourhood can be noisy, lots of students live here. However, both our neighbours are lovely and quiet, so you’ll never be woken by noise from next door. We feel safe raising our children here. 
The house was built in 1900, so there are some qualities that are typical to houses build during that time. However, it’s clean, warm and the internet is fast enough that I work from home and host online meetings.
In our main bedroom we can put an additional mattress on the floor if you’d like another person to sleep in that room. It’s a single floor mattress, not a proper bed. Otherwise, we have a full double bed and a single bed in the other bedroom, those are the ‘proper’ beds. 
Our dining table can be extended to seat 8 people. We have additional chairs in the loft. Do let us know if you’d like us to bring those down if you’re planning a larger dinner party.

We love our beautiful home!

Set just outside of Braga City Center, we have the best of both worlds - a quick trip to the middle of town and the peace and quiet of a garden, pool and beautiful countryside view.

We have a newly remodeled upstairs bathroom, a newly redone pool in the backyard, a home theater set with a big screen, second kitchen for popcorn making and super fun, squishy floor couches for movie enjoyment!

If you want to have a quiet coffee outside, the backyard is perfect.

My apartment in Paris is my pride and joy. As an artist, I care about design, color, and light and you’ll find all of those in abundance here. 

The apartment was renovated recently, and therefore has what the French call an “American sized” bathroom and kitchen - a rare find! 

The neighborhood is the 9th arrondissement, which is my favorite - central but not too many tourist attractions so it feels very local. 10 minutes walking to Pigalle and Montmartre. I can recommend the top bakeries, restaurants, and bars nearby. It’s a small village and the barista will know your name in no time!
