Our Galiano waterfront home is the perfect place to escape and relax! The Southwest home is perched on a unique private point on Trincomali Channel in the Southern Gulf Islands - see sunset 365 days per year, suntan on the daybed, eat oceanside, swim off the pier, take an outdoor shower or bath at the boathouse, watch whales and eagles, or just relax in the living room reading & staring at the ocean. Our Waterfront Escape has everything you need for your perfect getaway.

The home is 1400 sf, 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath. Large kitchen with sunroom, living room w/ fireplace, dining area, master w/ king, spare w/ queen + 1/2 bath,  and a large bathroom w/ tile shower and heated floors. Large patios on both sides of the home, front with BBQ, and back overhanging the ocean with dining & daybed. 

The boathouse is converted into a boho style room with roll-up glass door, outdoor shower + clawfoot tub and lounging area. Perfect for workouts, yoga, meditation, or just relaxing and watching the waves roll in. 

Pets are not permitted, sorry.

We love living in Graz, a UNESCO City of Design, off the general Austria tourist track, a lively college town, surrounded by nature and a short drive from the Southern Styrian wine region. 

Our flat is located across the entrance of Schloss Eggenberg, the most significant baroque palace in Styria, with its extensive gardens and museum, and close to trams and bus lines a few minutes walk away. 

It is on the 1st floor (2nd floor in the US) with 2 bedrooms, 3.4m high ceilings and a roomy terrace. It sleeps 4 comfortably, however the loft sleeping area in the second bedroom would not be suitable for young children. There’s also a dedicated parking spot in case you have a car. 

Popular attractions:
- Old Town / clock tower / city center - 15 min by tram
- Landeszeughaus (world’s largest historic armoury) - 15 min by tram
- Main train station - 12 min by tram
- Auster ( indoor/outdoor swimming pools and wellness facilities) - 2 blocks away
- Supermarkets/bakeries - 7 minutes walk
- Hiking trails behind the castle - 5 minutes walk

Day trip options by car:
- Zotter chocolate factory - 1 hour

📍The area
My vibrant street is friendly and multi cultural- it offers literally all type of shops, restaurants, takeaways, mini/supermarkets and more. Happy to share you my list of all my streets favourites (fashion, vintage, groceries, restaurants, coffee spots, take aways e.g.)

My house in on walk distance to the nice Plantage area,
where the zoo is located; Artis. Also if you enjoy some more quiet strolling, walk to the beautiful Oosterpark or Flevopark (both are just a 5 min away) , here you can always enjoy some quietness and peace. 🌳🌱🍂  

🚶🏻‍♂️- Walking to city centre
If you would like to go to the city centre; you can walk from my house, it’s a lovely walk, go via the Magere Brug to have the best view on the Amstel and theatre Carré. 
Standing on that bridge still gives me goosebumps and is one of the spots that in my opinion shows Amsterdams beauty at its best. ✨ 

🚋 Tram & train connection 
—-> if you don’t feel like walking, there is a tram within 5 min walk that will take you to all places; Museumplein, Leidseplein, Rembrandtplein all in less than 20 min. 
—-> also on 7 min walk there is a treinstation ‘Amsterdam Muiderpoort’ that is convienent if you are keen on seeing other cities of the Netherlands or any other destination outside Amsterdam. 🇳🇱

🎧 -  there is not much noise coming from the street, also neighbours are always respectful and quiet (please respect when staying in my home, preferably no loud music at unreasonable times)
my bedroom is at the back side of the house, so no street noise, only birds that might wake you up 😴

Expressive, Nordic home with private outdoor space

Welcome to my cozy and peaceful home in one of Budapest’s greenest and most peaceful districts. It is a perfect place to stay if you prefer to be a bit farther from
the city center. You can find everything you need in the area - nice coffee places, restaurants, grocery stores, markets - and you can go for a walk or a run in the nearby forest. It takes only 20-30 minutes to get to the center. 

The apartment has one bedroom with a king-size bed. The living room is spacious with a comfortable sofa (I replaced the one that is in the photos) and a smart TV. The kitchen is well-equipped with coffee machine, kettle, oven and stovetop. The dining area is basically a winter garden with lots of plants and light. Usually, I work from here. I have a small garden where you can enjoy your morning coffee or a glass of wine. 

There is a parking space on the backyard that you can use when I don’t leave my car at home. If I do, you can park for free on the street.

I’m very excited to welcome you to my brand new apartment!

In just 5 minutes by bike or 4 minutes by bus, you’ll reach the short (and free) ferry, which takes you to Central Station in 2 minutes—running day and night. I love this quiet location, yet it’s so close to the vibrant city center.

The apartment is brand new (I moved in June 2024) and very comfortable:
- Always the right temperature. Never too warm or too cold. 😌
- No street or neighbor noise. 🔇
- Feels spacious despite being 50m².
- Perfect for a Sunday morning coffee and a book. 🛋️

About area: Amsterdam Noord has been upcoming for a couple years and still is! 
- It has a trendy, yuppie and urban vibe. 😎
- You get nice city views from ‘t IJ canal. 🌆
-  Amazing restaurants and cafes - I’ll share my favorites. 🍝🥙
- Museums like Eye (film) and STRAAT (street art) nearby. 🎨
- Don’t forget to check out the urban NDSM area (5 minutes by bike.

Renting a bike is highly recommended when you visit Amsterdam. Also in Amsterdam Noord it’s the best and fastest way to go places. 🚲

Our home is a charming 3-story townhouse, perfectly located just a 12-minute walk from Salzburg’s historic old town, yet peacefully quiet.

We live in a desirable neighborhood on a cul-de-sac, surrounded by trees. The only sounds we usually hear are birds chirping in the backyard and frogs croaking by a nearby stream. It’s a very safe environment for kids to play outside.

The house enjoys plenty of sunlight, with the living room, terrace, and kids’ rooms on the first floor all facing south. It’s absolutely lovely. There’s also a fantastic rooftop terrace adjacent to the office on the top floor, where we love enjoying dinner or drinks in the evening.

On the first floor, the main bedroom is complemented by two children’s rooms connected by a sliding door, offering flexibility. They can either be a large play area or two separate rooms. Each room is equipped with toddler-friendly beds, and there are also two comfortable trundle beds, making it easy for each kids’ room to accommodate two people.

The top floor features a desk with a screen, two cozy sofas (one of which converts into a king-size bed), and access to the stunning rooftop terrace.

In our backyard, children will enjoy a slide, a swing, a soccer goal, and a sandpit.

Everybody who is nice is welcome to our home!
