A sanctuary in the heart of historic Madrid, we like to think of our apartment as your "home from home," which instantly makes you feel cosy, rested, and warm. With a south-facing perspective and windows in every room, this is a rare Madrid property as it is soaked in sunlight, especially in the winter months.

We love our living room most, seeing the view to the common patio area and the St Andrés cathedral spire. Browse our big bookcase and feel free to unwind, sit back, and enjoy being just a few minutes' walk from the city's main plazas and the medieval Plaza Mayor.

We are parents to a two year old, so one of the rooms is a dedicated bedroom and playarea for young kids [but can be converted into a second bedroom, with its own sofabed]. This room can be partitioned as it has sliding doors and serves very well as its own bedroom...Rest assured that if you are travelling with young children, there are multiple options for you here, as we have a crib, a bassinet and also a Pack n Play fold up bassinet too.

With a modern, newly fitted kitchen, all the amenities you would expect, a work space in the main bedroom, and benefiting from a recent redesign by architects, this is your place to feel relaxed.

Our home is filled with light. It’s located in a very central area which means there are a lot of restaurants, coffee places, and stores to check. It is also a vibrant and lively area: We overlook a square with lots of outdoor seating and beautiful views. You can enjoy the typical Spanish square life but this also makes the noise level typical of a busy city, particularly over the weekend. The apartment has an open layout and is very cozy: We love relaxing on the couch watching TV, reading in bed, and cooking while having a glass of wine and listening to our record player. There is a metro stop right on the square and several others a few minutes away as well as multiple bus routes. This makes moving around and exploring the city very convenient.

Welcome to our serene and sunlit loft nestled on the second floor of a modern, new-build block of flats. This quiet and peaceful space is bathed in natural light throughout the day, offering a warm and inviting atmosphere. The interior features a harmonious blend of contemporary and mid-century modern furnishings, complemented by thoughtfully curated artwork and a spacious open-plan living room with a fully equipped kitchen.

The loft includes a bright and airy master bedroom with floor-to-ceiling windows, solid oak floors, and a luxurious super king-size bed, complete with an en-suite bathroom. A second bathroom offers a walk-in shower and a full-size bath for added convenience. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need, from morning coffee and smoothies to hosting a dinner gathering.

Guests will have access to the entire loft, except for one private storage room. The building is double-secured with key entry at both the main entrance and the flat door. A communal area at the back provides access to trash and recycling facilities.

This is our home, and we rent or exchange it while traveling. We take pride in its cleanliness, comfort, and welcoming European-inspired vibe. Depending on your arrival, we’ll either greet you in person or arrange for keys to be available in a secure lockbox at the entrance. During your stay, we’re just a message or phone call away, with local support available in case of emergencies.
