Peaceful and sunny Almería home

Walking into our house brings me peace. Everything slows down when you are in Terreros. Anything you need is walking distance, and life is quiet. My favourite spots are the front patio for a glass of wine to unwind, and the rooftop terrace watching the sunset.
 
Walking to the market on Sunday to have a nice breakfast by the beach and buy some local products and back home to cook is my favourite time of the week. Always keen to go for a quick dip in the pool before lunch!
 
Relax, stretch, sunbathe and enjoy the hidden gem this town is.

Serene and Charming Farmhouse Bungalow

The Bungalow >> This cozy cottage is petit yet mighty with thoughtful design efficiency at every corner. The open floor plan leads to the garden beyond the sun drenched French doors offering serene relaxation. The cottage is meticulously decorated with a farmhouse-chic aesthetic that is equally as cozy as it is luxurious. There is a Pottery Barn standing desk work station in the bedroom, and the dining table which may also be used for WFH needs.

The Vibe >> Everyone who enters comments on the palpable “good vibes” the space offers. Feng shui and thoughtful interior design decisions have curated more than a space, but a feeling that was intended to evoke both creative beauty and inner peace. The bungalow has bean decorated with authentic antiques from around the world creating a charming English Cottage twist. Quality appliances offer modern conveniences to the old world space. The cottage is always shoes-off inside keeping it clean, literally and energetically. The entire house was just freshly deep cleaned (mid-Jan 2025) including all the rugs and even the couches!

Special Features >> The reading nook boasts an oversized chaise lounge next to the little library with a wide variety of progressive and quirky literature. Blackout curtains in the bedroom are helpful for a good night’s sleep. There’s also a home apothecary with a selection of teas and wellness tinctures. The thriving garden is a perfect place to enjoy a morning tea or journaling ritual. The trees and plants have been here many years and are full of healing spirit. 

The Neighborhood >> This area of Santa Monica is well-positioned, about 15 minutes to Beverly Hills, 10 minutes to Venice Beach, and 20-30 to downtown LA. Oh and there is an Erewhon within walking distance on the same street as the cottage. Highly rated “Milo and Olive” as well as “Fia” restaurant are also walking distance. This street is quite private and quiet as this particular block is permitted for residents only. A parking permit will be provided during your stay. Finally, there is a lovely park just 2 blocks away with tennis/basketball courts, as well as the Water Gardens only 2 blocks away, nice for sitting in the sunshine with a book or picnic😎🧺
