Our home is our little oasis. Every little corner is carefully thought of and intentional. We have SLOWLY been furnishing our place, so we are missing things like art on the walls and a couple small side tables,  but it is otherwise pretty much set! We wanted to open up our home to anyone displaced by the fires as we’ll be away for about 10 days starting Friday. The condo is quite calm and is perfectly set up to work from home.

We love our cozy little house in South LA! The house was build in 1942, and retains much of the original charm, but with modern amenities like air conditioning, dishwasher and washer and dryer. We’re proud to have restored our home, and hope you’ll enjoy it as much as we do!

Neighborhood: we live in a tight knit neighborhood and know most of our neighbors. It’s quiet, though you still get some occasional city and plane noise as we’re close to the LAX flight path. Generally it is much more quiet than your average city apartment 😊 Because it’s LA, you’ll most likely want a car to explore. We’re very central, close to major venues like The Forum, SoFi Stadium, the Intuit Dome and LAX, with easy access to downtown LA, South Bay and the west side via car.

The House: We’ve made the house our sanctuary, since we both work from home. The 2nd bedroom doubles as an office, but has a very comfy pull out queen sofa. We love the soaking tub in the bathroom after a long day! The back yard is truly a tropical oasis: we have a little cowboy soaking pool, a hammock and a BBQ. It’s the perfect place to hang out on a summer night or evening. 

Note: we do have a guest house that shares the backyard. Our long time tenant and her little dog live in the back, and you’ll likely see them head out throughout the day for walks in the neighborhood. She’s a close friend and a great neighbor! There is enough separation between the guest house and the main house that you’ll barely know she’s there 😃 If you’re traveling with your pup, let’s discuss! Unfortunately we can’t have cats in the house due to allergies 🐱 🤧
